In my old age I know that death is coming sooner than I would like. The notion of leaving the written word for others allows me not to cheat death but to make its reality easier to accept a sort of post grave transition period. That idea has linked me closer to writing, books, and libraries.
Michigan has the Michigan Braille and Talking Book Library in Lansing and Advisory and Outreach Centers in Port Huron, Washtenaw, Marquette, Rochester, Flint, Comstock Park, Traverse City, Muskegon, Taylor and Detroit, in addition to Clinton Township.
