Founded in 1970, the Clinton County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) comprised of citizens and elected officials that has received national recognition for its work in rural planning and development. The CCRPC is tasked with preparing plans on long range programming; promoting understanding of and recommending administrative and regulatory measures to implement plans; contracting if needed to facilitate planning activities; reviewing, evaluating and making comments on amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and zoning amendments; providing planning assistance to other units of local government; and, administering the County Subdivision Regulations.
The Associate Planner plays a vital role in providing staff support and advice to the communities within the region, planning and zoning commissions and is a key contributor to the implementation of the RPC’s mission. The Associate Plan

WILMINGTON The Clinton County Land Bank and local partners joined together to clean up two properties in the City of Wilmington.
In late September, the City of Wilmington and the Clinton County Juvenile Court Services worked together to start cleaning 263 Mulberry St. Chad Mason, Community Service Coordinator for the Juvenile Court Services, coordinated the assistance to remove items inside the house, as well as clearing the overgrown landscape outside.
