K-State offers cattle chats in February
K-State Research and Extension will have four cattle chats in February. These 25 minute chats will occur on Feb 4, 11, 18 and 25. Each session starts at 10 a.m.
Topics include pregnancy issues, post-calving nutrition and vaccinations and semen and sire selection. Dr. Gregg Hanzlicek a KSU Veterinarian will examine pregnancy issues on Feb. 5. Dale Blasi, a beef specialist will speak of nutrition on Feb 11. On Feb. 18, Dr. A.J. Tarpoff will examine vaccinations. The last chat on Feb. 25 will feature livestock agent Clint Laflin who will speak of semen and sire selection.
