CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Days after a Christmas snowstorm walloped Northeast Ohio, several spots in Cleveland still havenât been fully cleared, sparking frustration among safety and accessibility advocates.
âEvery time I go out, Iâm concerned for my safety,â said Jess Wallace, the safety director for Downtown Cleveland Residents, a volunteer-based community advocacy group.

LAKEWOOD, Ohio (WOIO) - The snowstorm that swept through Northeast Ohio on Christmas Eve and Christmas day certainly threw a wrench into holiday plans, even those already minimized by COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines.
“Everyone always wishes for a white Christmas, but I bet people are re-thinking that now,” said Tyler Sandford as he dug his car out of the snow in Lakewood.
He was on his way to his mother’s house to celebrate the holiday.

to cleveland to report on what was going on. you couldn t get out of atlanta. it s so frustrating. it s not always what s going on where you re coming from but at a hub like atlanta or chicago, or even cleveland for that matter, it can be what s going on in other parts of the country. the storm so massive affecting tens of millions of people and people trying to travel by car or plane having certainly issues. here it is on the satellite picture. it s monster storm, the actual low itself is up toward quebec. that was good news for the folks in the east coast because they stay in the warm side of this thing. all of this cold air is really driving in behind that. so, that is going to be certainly one of the factors as we go on through the next day or two. it s not so much how much snow will pile up. it will pile up in spots but the scold going to be the larger issue. right now with the wind chill itit itty it feels like 20 below in minneapolis. it feel like 3 right now outside in atlant
new england and not a ton of snow behind this even when you see things change over, which they will this afternoon. but the moisture for the most part will be gone. accumulations in the northeast i believe will be minimal with this. but look at this, snow s getting all the way down to parts of the south. atlanta, quite a bit of flurries yesterday and up through nashville, seeing some snow, birmingham, alabama, seeing snow, and it will remain cold enough for snow across the deep south today, but we don t expect any sort of accumulation. with do expect to see accumulation here. from chicago back to cleveland, this area could see 1 to 2 feet of snow in the favored areas. now that we re starting to see the cold air roll in and getting into the typical lake effect snow showers and some of the snow is going to be obviously heavy at times. not only for today, but tonight and tomorrow and ongoing. far as what we re looking at for temperatures, it s 43 right now in new york. you re not even bel
