Works for an out of state Trucking Company that just started up. This pile up happened in a heavy Construction Zone not far from where we are at right here. It is a zone that poses a lot of questions and we are trying to get answers. I just witnessed an accident. I am on i80. In a split second a family trip turned into a life ending moment. 14yearold Madison Creagan of new york kild turnpike. Her brother seriously injured. This is the remnants of their ford f150 truck. It was just a bad situation with all the weekend traffic heading home. State Highway Patrol tells us this man slammed his semitruck into the f150 which in turn caused this eye opening chain reaction. This car, this car, this car all damaged. In total 10 vehicles involved. Temporary wall they set up for safety to keep the eastbound vehicles away from the west was compromised and pushed out all the way into the lane. The pileup happened here in this Construction Zone. Crazy weather. 84 degrees right now in euclid. 84 in bedford and 86 in peninsula. And so, its 12 00 and its already off to a very toasty start. Only getting warmer throughout the day and we talked about lunchtime bringing with it a risk or chance of showers. You can see south of areas like ashland, seeing the green creep in and 83 in new london and 84 toward vermilion. And you can see the light the ground right now and traversing across areas like wayne county, richland, Ashland County and stark county. Into the later evening hours, that threat of showers and thunderstorms continues to linger. A lot like last night is what its looking like.
