PORT HURON, Mich. (WXYZ) â An Ohio man is in police custody after allegedly threatening to burn down Cleveland Elementary School in Port Huron and then shoot police, authorities said Wednesday.
Wednesday morning, the suspect made several calls to St. Clair County Dispatch posing threats. The elementary school subsequently went into a soft lockdown for roughly an hour before the man was located.
Police later located the 32-year-old who was visiting his girlfriend in Port Huron and staying at her apartment when police made the arrest.
