Personiv focuses on business process management and services for the outsourcing accounting space. It will continue operating independently and will retain all 2,000 fof its employees, of which eight are in Austin, according to the company. Most of Personiv s staffers work at delivery centers in India and the Philippines.
India-based eClerx provides business process management, analytics and automation services to enterprises. The company already has an Austin presence, as in 2017 it chose Austin as the Americas headquarters for its eClerx Digital division.
After the acquisition, eClerx will have more than 11,000 employees globally.
David Lesniak, CEO of Personiv, said the companies are combining to provide expanded outsourcing services including virtual accounting talent and customer experience.
