An increasingly heated dispute between two local Santa Rosa County elected officials reached a boiling point at Tuesday s County Commission meeting, with accusations of racism, discrimination and personal vendettas being thrown around between Clerk of Court Donald Spencer and District 1 Commissioner Sam Parker.
The four-hour workshop, which was comprised mostly of standard county business, ended with Parker requesting to make a few comments not on the agenda.
In his prepared comments, Parker brought up a dispute from the week prior between Spencer and him, in which Spencer challenged Parker s charitable donations because he said they didn t have the proper paperwork.
