A second person associated with the Iowa House of Representatives has tested positive for COVID-19, state lawmakers learned Thursday.
Chief Clerk Meghan Nelson sent an email to all House members and staff Thursday morning to let them know someone associated with the Iowa House of Representatives had tested positive for COVID-19.
That person was last in the state Capitol building on Jan. 22 and tested positive on Jan. 27, the email said. The person was wearing a face covering at all times and was primarily on the first and second floor of the building in space controlled by the Iowa House.
