Bill passed away peacefully at age 69 in the comfort of his home with his loving wife by his side on Saturday, May 22, 2021, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, after a long battle with cancer.
Bill was born on August 26, 1951, in Beardmore, Ontario. He moved with his family to Thunder Bay as a teenager to attend high school where he met the love of his life, Hope. They were married on May 9, 1970 at just 18 years old. Sixteen years later, they adopted their only daughter, Jennifer, who was Bill’s pride and joy.
Bill was a jack of all trades and could always be found tinkering around. When he wasn’t trying to fix something, he was out fishing and hunting. Bill had a passion for all food, especially dessert which he loved enjoying during coffee and joke telling with family and friends. Over his life, Bill had a lot of interests including vintage cars, western films, playing poker, shooting pool, bowling, and watching hockey and baseball. He loved li
