Members of the Carrageenan Plant Growth Promoter (PGP) team of the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI) have emerged as regional winners of the Civil Service Commission’s Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award as part of its 2020 Search for Outstanding Government Workers.

The PNRI announced that the five members of its team got the award in the regional level.

PASIG CITY, Jan. 24 (PIA) Civil Service Commission (CSC) Chairperson Alicia dela Rosa-Bala is encouraging the public to nominate government officials and employees deserving of recognition for honest and exemplary service. The awards to be given out are the highest and most coveted recognition given by the government to individuals or group of individuals who have excelled or shown outmost dedication and commitment in public service.

She said the CSC’s regional and provincial offices are ready to accept nominations to the annual search, which forms part of CSC’s Honor Awards Program (HAP).
The awards to be given out are the highest and most coveted recognition given by the government to individuals or group of individuals who have excelled or shown utmost dedication and commitment to public service, the CSC said.
It said all government workers in the career and non-career service, including appointive barangay officials may be nominated.
