A story of Godâs mercy and redemption, told by motivational speaker and author Damon West, will highlight the 18th Annual Cleburne Christian Leadership Prayer Breakfast on Monday at Cleburne Bible Church.Â
Doors will open at 6:15 a.m. with a continental breakfast preceding the program beginning at 6:50 a.m. The annual community event is co-sponsored by the Cleburne Christian Business Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.Â
The start to the morning will feature Dallasâ Turtle Creek Chorale members Alvaro Ramalho and Colby Guyer as guest vocalists bringing the special music.Â

Southwestern Adventist University President Ken Shaw has announced that he has accepted an offer to serve as the 27th president of Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee. His transition will take place at the end of this academic year.Â
Shaw has served as the 25th president of Southwestern Adventist University since 2014 when he moved to Texas from Florida where he served as the academic dean of the College of Applied Studies and campus dean of Florida State University Panama City.
Shawâs time at Southwestern Adventist University has been defined by his commitment to the universityâs mission of âinspiring knowledge, faith and service through Christ-centered education.â Most notably, he has placed value on creating a culture of service that extends beyond the campus and into the community.
