The power will be out in North Latah County and Southern Benewah County on Sunday.
About 4,000 Avista Utilities and Clearwater Power customers will be without power from 8:00 in the morning to 6:00 Sunday afternoon. Customers in Potlatch, Princeton, Harvard, Sanders, Tensed, Emida, Fernwood, Clarkia and Santa and surrounding areas will be without power.
The outage will allow Avista to upgrade power poles and lines South of Potlatch on U.S. Highway 95. The work will cause some traffic restrictions in that work zone on Sunday.
