No. 3 Softball Travels to Gainesville to Face No. 17 Florida

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The third-ranked Florida State softball team (43-8, 19-2) returns to action with a rivalry matchup with the 17th-ranked Florida Gators on Wednesday night at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium in Gainesville, Fla. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. on ESPNU with Beth Mowins and Michelle Smith on the call. The two teams played just last week in Tallahassee as the Seminoles came away victorious with a 5-3 win over the Gators. This marked the Seminoles' fourth-straight win over the Gators which tied for the Seminoles' longest winning streak in the series. The Seminoles will be looking to win back-to-back games in Gainesville for the first time since 2003 as the Seminoles' defeated Florida in a 4-2 win in 10 innings last season in Gainesville. The Seminoles have been red hot as they have won eight-straight games and have won 22 out of their last 24 contests. FSU Softball Travels to Notre Dame for Final Road ACC Series

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -  The fourth-ranked Florida State softball team (40-8, 16-2) looks to stay red hot this weekend when they travel to Notre Dame, Ind., to face the Fighting Irish (29-13-1, 11-9-1) in a three-game series. The teams will play on Friday (6 p.m.), Saturday (1 p.m.) and Sunday (Noon). Friday's game can be seen on ACC Network with Saturday's and Sunday's games airing on ACC Network Extra. The Seminoles have been dominant in the last month and are winners of 19 out of their last 21 games which includes nine wins over teams ranked inside the top 25. The Seminoles are coming off a huge rivalry win where they defeated No. 15 Florida by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday night at JoAnne Graf Field. It marked the Seminoles' eighth-straight win over a top 25 opponent. The Seminoles control their own destiny in pursuit of their 19th ACC Championship. No. 4 Softball Returns to Conference Play with Home Series Against Virginia

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - After a nonconference midweek matchup on Wednesday, the fourth-ranked Florida State softball team (33-7, 11-1) returns to ACC play with a home series against Virginia. Friday's game is set for 6 p.m. on the ACC Network. The two teams will play on Saturday at 1 p.m. and the series finale will take place at noon on Sunday. Both Saturday's and Sunday's games can be seen on ACC Network Extra. The Seminoles are currently on an eight-game winning streak and entered the top five in both major polls. The Seminoles are on top of the ACC with an 11-1 record and are two games ahead of Clemson in the standings with 12 ACC games remaining. Series History FSU leads the all-time series 89-18. Virginia is the team in the ACC that the Seminoles have played the most as the two teams have squared off 117 times. FSU has won the last 16 games in the series and have won 24 out of the last 25.
