Clearwater County Ambulance Service will be offering an EMT-B class, starting mid-January. Exact dates and times are to be determined. They will be hosting an orientation/information session on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 6:00 p.m. at the Ambulance Station, 1195 Riverside Drive.Â
This course is approximately six months long, most of the work is done online and participants and instructors meet two nights each week for face-to-face class. After successful completion of the course, students will be able to take the national exam and certify as a licensed EMT in the State of Idaho.Â
The class is free to those who agree to commit to the ambulance six shifts per month for one year. More information on this will be available at the orientation.
