City of Madison officials said crews will start plowing all city streets starting at 3 p.m. following Friday morning's snowfall; efforts are likely to extend through the night and into the early morning.

MADISON, Wis.– There’s a special chore that comes along with every snow fall and Madison residents are getting to do it for the first time this season.
The City of Madison requires residents to clear any public sidewalks in front of or next to their home of ice and snow.

Director of Building Inspection and Code Enforcement George Hank said snow that started to accumulate on Friday and into Saturday needs to be removed by noon on Sunday.
