9:10 a.m. Tuesday: About 7 inches of snow fell over parts of the Iowa City area between Monday afternoon and 8 a.m. Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS snow reports show that the area has between 3.5-9 inches of snowfall from Monday s winter storm. The wide range of measured snowfall could be due to the windy conditions blowing light snow across the region.
