The county was reporting 110 total COVID-related deaths as of Nov. 9; just one month later, on Dec. 10, the county reported 134 COVID-related deaths an increase of 24 fatalities over those four weeks.
Since Dec. 8, 2021, the state reported an additional 23,236 COVID-19 cases, totaling 971,667 for the entire pandemic, a 29% decrease over the previous week. Also, 244 new deaths were reported by the state in the last seven days, 48 fewer than last week, totaling 10,018 for the entire pandemic. Currently, Becker County reported 102 active cases, a decrease of 40 active cases since Dec. 8. Otter Tail and Becker Counties each reported 3 new COVID-related deaths this week. Statewide COVID-19 data is not being released on Saturdays and Sundays.
