The City Council delayed a vote on an alcohol policy for the Legends Rec Plex during its meeting Tuesday. Parks and Recreation Director Clay Caswell outlined the drafted policy, which would allow for those renting the facility s banquet room to bring in alcohol for consumption or to bring in a caterer with a consumption license to serve or sell alcohol. The consumption of alcohol would be allowed only in the banquet room or on the patio, according to the policy. Caswell said the city would be required to have a consumption license from the state but would not purchase licenses to sell alcohol at the Rec Plex.
