WWE Names New Executive Hire, Stephanie McMahon Comments

WWE has named Claudine Lilien as the new Senior Vice President and Head of Global Sales & Partnerships.
Lilien will report directly to WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon. She will be a key member of WWE’s senior management team, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and leading WWE’s sales organization while expanding its roster of sponsors, and promotional partnerships.
“Claudine is a seasoned executive with a strong business acumen and outstanding reputation within the sports and entertainment marketplace,” said McMahon. “I am excited for Claudine to lead WWE’s sales division and look forward to her immediate contributions as we continue to deliver tremendous value to our world-class partners.”

Edge has apologized to Kurt Angle for the You Suck chants he often receives during his ring entrance.
On Instagram, Kurt Angle noted that Edge started the chant. He captioned a photo: How the You Suck chants started. Thanks a lot Edge #itstrue.
Edge followed up with a reply, Sorry Kurt. Love you. Makes you feel any better I’m wearing pleather pants and a wet spandex button up.

As reported last week, Randy Orton appeared to have hurt his shoulder during a match against Matt Riddle.
In an update from Fightful Select, Orton will reportedly be okay, although he did suffer deep bruising to the area. We’re told that Orton sustained a deep bruise in the area, but initially at least there didn’t seem to be major damage that would sideline him for a long period of time.

Variety reports that WWE has named Claudine Lilien as the senior vice president and head of global sales and partnerships.
She previously worked for Fox Corp., Fox Sports and Fox Networks group, and was most recently the senior VP of client management and solutions at Fox Sports. She was responsible for leading sales and marketing for several Fox Sports properties, including Smackdown, Fox Bet and Fox Bet Super 6. She was also the senior VP of advertising sales for Fox Networks Group and senior VP of Sports Sales for Fox Sports Media. In that role, she was responsible for selling NFL, MLB, NCAA, NASCAR and UFC. She is also on the Board of Trustees for Lafayette College.
