say at the first sound of danger tanetha white s 12-year- old quick thinking daughter brought all of the children into a bathroom where she dialed nine. for the last nine years tanetha white has been running licensed day care out of wood bridge. she call it s tony s base. her website says i have made a great effort into making my home into a safe and caring environment for children but that environment was shattered when a man, identified at richard nickels walked into the home with a gun. a on can t release at this time that they new each other. it appears to be domestic. however all of that is being investigated. reporter: turns out they used to be neighbors. richard nickels lived next door to tanetha white. neighbors say tanetha first ran her day care out of her house before leaving her husband and moved. did your son say they heard anything. reporter: natalie williams said she dropped her 11-year- old son at the day care ten minutes before the shooting. she said

of the woman. we know she is affiliated with the facility but we don t know in what specific capacity. state police say she was found in a secluded areas behind the murphy school which is a group home that is part of cheltenham. it houses approximately 20 youth considered low risk. the building is a residence and a school. investigators are interviewing both staff and inmates. state police sat woman was assaulted and found by a staff member. the body of an adult female was found about 7:45 this morning by a staff member at the facility. the body is laying outside a door in a building that is situated outside the fence of the facility. reporter: now, the main facility of cheltenham houses youth offenders 14 to 18. they are considered high risk. they are awaiting trial on a variety of offenses. she is affiliated with the facility but they don t know if it s with cheltenham or with murphy house. reporting live, claudia coffey, fox 5 news. back to you. all right. the hunt
