Im told by a witness that the suspect actually crashed his vehicle into the Center Divider of the highway and took off running. Thats when he was hit by car. We did talk to metro about how long these road closures are going to last. Listen as the captain, we asked him about this and his answer. First well get the southbound lanes open and then after weve got some of those southbound lanes open, then well work on portions of the northbound 95. Reporter those southbound lanes expected to open a little more quickly because the body heading on the northbound lanes.
