Sullivan And Nebeker Take Their Leave Details Published: 11 December 2020
Commissioners Kathleen Sullivan and Sarah Nebeker were honored Wednesday for their service to Clatsop County on the Board of Commissioners.
The two outgoing commissioners were presented with plaques, American flags, and notes from county staff at their final scheduled board meeting.
Sullivan was elected in 2016 to represent Dist. 4, covering eastern Astoria, Knappa/Svensen, and Westport. Nebeker was elected in 2012 and reelected in 2016 to represent Dist. 2, which covers Gearhart, Clatsop Plains, and portions of Seaside.
Sullivan represented the county on the Council of Forest Trust Land Counties and Forest Trust Land Advisory Committee, as well as the Northwest Senior and Disability Services board, and was board liaison to the Recreational Lands Planning Advisory Committee. She served as board vice-chair in 2019 and chair in 2020.
