Physics, chemistry, and maths will no longer be mandatory subjects for admission to undergraduate courses in architecture, according to the approval process handbook for 2022–23 released by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The new Common University Education Test (CUET), will be held in the first week of July when most of the Class 12 board exams would have been completed.
The exams will be conducted in two sittings. The class 10 examinations will be conducted in the first sitting, while the class 12 in the second sitting, JAC officials said.
