news edge. reporter: maryland state police say they were called to this house a little after 5:30 this afternoon when a family friend said he hadn t heard from this family in a few days. he apparently knocked on the door, didn t get an answer, went around to the back of the house and looking in a window he saw someone dead on the floor. that s when investigators were called. the first responders went to this house here at the end of contour road. it s on a dead end here. and first responders went inside, found four people dead, a man, a woman and two children, roughly a 14-year-old boy who s in high school we we re told by neighbors and a 7- year-old girl who is an elementary school student. the first responders then came out of the house. they went to a judge for a search warrant and only at 9:40 tonight did investigators get their first chance to go back inside the house. they re looking inside the house. they also looked through the family jeep in the front here right ou
