Unlicensed fugitive recovery agent charged after gas station incident
MOBERLY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Moberly Police responded to an incident at the Clark Gas Station in the 1100 block of north Morley St. after a vehicle caused $20,000 in damage and left the scene.
According to court documents, Dylan Seevers was assisting a local surety bondsman to capture a local fugitive when Seevers was injured after the fugitive drove off.
According to the court documents the officer reviewed video footage of the incident showing Seevers went up to a truck and attempted to get the suspect out of the vehicle. When the suspect didn t respond, Seever s allegedly pulled a weapon and that is when the suspect hit a gas pump, injuring Seevers. Seevers went to an area medical center due to his injuries before police arrived on the scene.
