ATTICA, Ind. (WLFI) Clark Barrett added 21 points in Central Catholic s 67-49 win over Covington to capture the Class A Sectional 54 title on Saturday night.
CC led by 12 at the halfway mark, and did not sacrifice a lead for the rest of the game.
AJ Bordenet added 19 points in the Knights victory.
Logan Pinkerton scored a game high 30 points in Covington s loss.
Central Catholic avenges its 2020 sectional loss to the Trojans, and advances to its first regional game since 2019. CC will play Cowan at 10am in the Class A Frankfort Regional on Saturday at 10am.
