The PRO of the Clare Soccer League is playing down fears that clubs in Ennis are facing the prospect of having to fold due to financial pressures.
It comes after Ennis councilor Mark Nestor raised the issue at a recent local authority meeting, where he stated that clubs who are renting council facilities are struggling to meet those costs.
There are a number of clubs in the Ennis area who are based out of the council run facilities at Lees Road, while Gallery Park in Kilrush also hosts games and training sessions.
