Will Young has returned with details of his new album.
The follow-up to 2019 s Lexicon is called Crying On The Bathroom Floor and will arrive on August 6 via Cooking Vinyl. It ll feature reinterpretations of hits from some of the singer s favourite female alt-pop artists, including tracks by Robyn, Lykke Li, London Grammar, Solange, and Sky Ferreira. Young said: I ve always enjoyed singing other people s songs. There is a liberation to it. It s how I feel when I approach a script. I have reverence for the piece of art and the artist who created it.
