A dozen Dorchester schools have received grants from EdVestors, a nonprofit focused on school improvement. The organization announced earlier this month a $460,000 purse for arts education funding to 65 Boston Public Schools for the coming school year. The announcement came at the Citywide Arts Festival, an annual three- affair that started in 2009.
