A 44-year-old man who has been engaging in threatening and abusive behaviour towards neighbours has been told to desist or he will go to prison.
A neighbour of Fran Clancy, of Yeats Heights, Ballytivnan told Sligo District Court that Clancy has been hanging out windows with an iron bar, threatening neighbours, and people have moved out of the area because of his behaviour.
Mr John Reid, a former psychiatric nurse and neighbour, told the court Clancy told him he would cut Mr Reid s throat, threatened him with an iron bar from an upstairs window and acted in an aggressive way to Mr Reid and his partner.
