Police have accused a Hartford man of shooting a New York man multiple times in the first-floor hallway of his Yonkers apartment building in what investigators described as “the fatal culmination of an on-going dispute between the two men.”

YONKERS, NY A Connecticut man was accused of shooting and killing a man in Yonkers Sunday.
The Yonkers Police Department said Claismar Abreu-Then, 27, of Hartford, Connecticut, was charged in Hartford on weapons and drug crimes and is awaiting extradition to Westchester County on a charge of second-degree murder, a felony.
Abreu-Then was taken into custody Thursday by members of the Yonkers police, Hartford police and FBI Northern Connecticut Violent Crime and Gang Task Force.

He was accused of killing Joseph Pichardo, 24, in the first-floor hallway of 54 Fairview St. in Yonkers Sunday.
