Fossil remains discovered in Romania have helped scientists identify a new species of pangolin. Scientists believe it is Europe's youngest pangolin fossil. Pangolin fossils are rare, so scientists are quite happy about this discovery. As far as scientists know, this is the only Pleistocene European pangolin fossil.
