Georgia Democratic electors cast state s 16 votes for Biden, Harris article
ATLANTA - For the first time since 1992, Georgia s electoral votes will go to a Democratic presidential candidate.
The state s 16 electors met inside the Georgia Senate Chamber at noon Monday to cast their votes for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. It was very exciting and humbling to be there, said state Sen. Steve Henson, D-Stone Mountain.

Democrats, however, were not the only ones to meet inside the State Capitol. Georgia s Republican nominees for the Electoral College gathered inside a small room on the second floor where they also went through the process.
