The countdown is on.
With Christmas one week away, there is a flurry of activity – even in the midst of the coronavirus plague.
More than 800 who receive degrees today from UND will long remember the online ceremony. There will be no hugs, no shaking of hands, no going out for dinner.
But life goes on.
There are Christmas gifts yet to be purchased by people wearing masks. There are contributions to be made to organizations such as Santa Claus Girls and the Salvation Army – but no bell ringers on street corners.
