Subscriber only A contract to supply works at the Hay Point loading port is set to employ 350 people, with a range of roles up for grabs. Civmec was awarded a contract for the supply, fabrication, surface treatment and assembly of more than 13,500 tonnes of wharf girders and associated structures for the development of the Hay Point loading port. Located 40km south of Mackay, the port infrastructure works will start immediately and run until late 2022. The project will employ about 350 people during the fabrication and assembly phases at Civmec s Henderson facility in WA.
