A total of nine labor unions have now signed onto the deal with NYC, which ends litigation over the vaccine mandate and allows some more time on the payroll.
The unions represent about 88,000 of the 160,000 employees covered by the city’s latest mandate, which requires all city employees to get vaccinated or face unpaid leave.
