An Enugu State Magistrate Court in South-East Nigeria, on Thursday, remanded one Mrs. Ujunwa Ugwuoke in the Enugu Maximum Correctional Centre for the alleged murder of nine-year-old Precious Korshima. SaharaReporters had reported that Ugwuoke was arrested by police for allegedly beating little Precious Korshima who was her house help to death and subsequently dumped her corpse in bush where it was burnt.
The Nigeria Police Force may drop an investigation into the alleged murder of nine-year-old home help Precious Korshima, if her father fails to pay N100,000 demanded by the police for medical examination. A Nigerian woman, Mrs. Ujunwa Ugwuoke has been accused of beating to death her nine-year-old house help, Precious Korshima. In a bid to cover up the crime, the woman allegedly dumped her corpse in the bush where the body was consequently set ablaze. The father of late nine-year-old Precious, Mr. James Achikpi Korshima, who narrated the gruesome murder of her daughter to a human rights organisation based in Enugu, the Civil Rights Realisation and Advancement Network (CRRAN), called for justice for her daughter.
