The Operations Department at the General Directorate of Civil Defence Monday carried out a mock evacuation operation in the administrative building of United Development Company (UDC) at The Pearl-Qatar. The Ministry of Interior (MoI) tweeted that the drill is part of the directorate s mock evacuation operations to ensure the preparedness of personnel working there to deal with fire-related risks. It also aims to train them to deal with fire and other types of accidents, improve the response speed and to increase co-ordination between the directorate and these entities
