Following massive public outrage and the ensuing
signature campaign undertaken by
civic corporators to claim credit of
public works and private housing projects across the city, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has finally taken cognisance of the complaints raised over the issue.
In a formal meeting held with the assistant commissioners of all 15 ward offices across the city, the additional municipal chief of PMC instructed them to allow only a single signboard at a place, adding that local corporators would be allowed to use their names, but all four names of the representatives must be placed on the same signboard.
