An Urbandale Police officer shot and killed a suspect after responding to a drug call at a hotel this morning. Officers were called to the holiday inn at 4800 merle hay road just after four this morning. On arrival, police encountered three people in the hotel lobby. Thats when officers say one of the suspects pulled out gun and started shooting at them. Police returned fire. Killing the shooter. Two women took off, but were caught a short time later and are now in custody. Urbandale police are planning to hold a News Conference on the officer involved shooting. Yahia was shot and killed by Urbandale Police officers earlier this month. After they were called to the merle hay holiday inn on a drug complaint.
