a celebration known as kegs and eggs, as students eagerly await the city s st. patrick s day parade. thousands of young people were involved. it was upsetting to see what was going on. and we had never experienced that. everybody is on every inch of the street, on inch of the sidewalk. on all the porches. they re completely wasted. it s just a sea of green mayhem. the crowd is whipping itself into a frenzy. and then things take a destructive turn. i was walking at one point. i remember hearing charge and look up and see a tv coming out the window. fantastic. now it s raining appliances. people are taking microwaves and throwing them into the streets.
