Guest column: We must rise to the call of daily service
Your turn
If this past year has taught us anything, it is that there is a need, an utter necessity to help and be of service to others. Not just during times of national crisis or natural disaster, but consistent daily service. Daily service can be: saying I appreciate you, giving words of encouragement because you’re in the position to, being empathetic, being vulnerable enough to listen and brave enough to change, helping without expecting in return, or showing up consistently with an open heart and mind.
Sounds doable, right?
