As her partner assisted her he was injured and so severe it compromised the ability to control their assailant. The dazed officer and her injured partner attempted to subdue the person violently resisting their efforts. As the officers were fighting for their lives they were able to get a radio broadcast out asking for help but their location was gar belled and unintellible.
