Thank you. In the south bay investigators are waiting until dawn to determine the cause of a two alarm grass fire that threatened hopes in san jose. Firefighters contained the flames on Communications Hill east of the freeway at 10 30. The fire burned for an hour and left five to seven acres charred. Firefighter say the fire spread up a steep hill toward homes at the chateau mobile home park. Crews determined the fire was completely out. In the east bay firefighters are trying to determine what sparked a 75acre grass fire that burned a large area of speaker state 580 near livermore. We were over the scene as the fire burned along Center Divide near the north flynn road offramp at 2 30 yesterday afternoon. High winds made fighting the fire difficult and it crept cl
