Many veterans have been upset on the delay of Mare Island Naval Cemetery’s ownership being transferred from the City of Vallejo to the Veterans Affairs Association. However, Vallejo City Staff is saying the process could be finalized on Thursday despite a recent snafu. The finalization could come just in time for Sunday’s Veterans Day Ceremony.
