Peterborough Transit workers voted 86.5 per cent in favour of ratifying a new three-year agreement with the City of Peterborough on Saturday. The union represents 123 employees.
The members of ATU Local 1320 will vote on the deal at a ratification meeting on Saturday. The union represents 103 full-time and 20 part-time employees at Peterborough Transit.
Peterborough Transit workers last went on strike in 2005. The union representing staff says if a deal isn't reached by the weekend, workers could be on the picket line on Nov. 20.
