April is Earth Month, a great time for local students in grades TK through 5 to participate in the City of Malibu Community Services Department’s 2021 Polli-Power Program environmental education series. From April 12 through May 31, students can learn about pollinator species like insects and birds and their important role in habitats and environmental conservation through short films, activities, gardening and art projects.
The City will give away one hundred Polli-Power bags with art supplies and items to start a home pollinator garden. Families may register for a free bag and pick-up date at MalibuCity.org/Register.
