Only 12 areas in Britain have a worse Covid infection rate than Bradford
BRADFORD has been revealed to have the 12th worst Covid-19 infection rate of every local authority in the UK. In the latest Government figures, Bradford s Covid-19 infection rate stands at 149.7 infections per 100,000 in the week to March 1. This is a fall of more than 60 from the week before, but is still more than double the national average for England which stands at 47.4 infections per 100,000 people. Only 11 places in the country are currently doing worse at stopping the spread of infection than in the Bradford district, and Bradford has the highest rate in West Yorkshire.
