For indie music fans, today is the birthday of Vernor Winfield MacBriare Smith IV, who legally changed his name to MacBriare Samuel Lanyon DeMarco, but is better known as singer-songwriter Mac DeMarco. In his 34 short years, his output has been impressive at five full-length studio albums, as well as what he calls two “mini-albums,” which vinyl fans would call EPs.
